The Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association have drafted former McMinnville High great Rick Abrahamson in the 12th round of pro drafting. At MHS he played guard and was voted Most Valuable Player in the TYV league in 1965. He most recently was team captain of the Oregon Ducks.
