Legionnaires Down Rex Putnam, 6-1; Second In League With 3-1 Record

The McMinnville Legionnaires routed Rex Putnam, 6-1 in a non-league game here Thursday night. This puts the record of the Mac team, 7-6, in overall standings and 3-1 in League play behind Hillsboro with a record of 3-0. Hillsboro and McMinnvlle, the top two in the National League standings met last night at Hillsboro. The winning pitcher for McMinnville against Rex Putnam was Steve Killough.
