Allen White of Dayton holds ”Frightful”, a hawk-like bird which flew against a kitchen window of their home this week and was adopted by the White family. Lana White, sixth grader, looks on at bird which family hopes will be claimed by its rightful owner. Tame enough to eat from their hands, the bird is being fed meat from the family freezer.
