Nomad Christens Trailer Line At McMinnviIIe Plant

Kendra Hartman, secretary, breaks bottle of champagne to christen the first Aljo, a new line of travel trailers at Nomad trailers plant in McMinnviIle Friday. Looking on at left are (l-r) John Wilcox, president of Los Amigos Trailer Sales, the first recipient of the line; Earl Smith, vice president and sales manager, Los Amigos; Garry White, Aljo representative; Don Siegel, division manager; and Nomad firm employees. Nomad, a division of Skyline Corporation, is now producing five units a day of three lines of trailers, each with models ranging from about 15 to 35 feet long. The number of employees is expected to eventually reach 100 from the present 25. Production should reach 30 units a day by spring, 1970.
