McMinnville Lions Club members participated locally in a state-wide litter cleanup campaign Sunday morning and found all sorts of items, including this long piece of paper being reeled in by Dick Hofrichter, strewn alongside roads and in ditches. Dozens of beer cans, bottles and a large amount of scrap paper were taken to the city dump. Several groups, including the Boys Scouts and 4-Wheelers have recently made a project of cleaning up local streets.
