City Park Shelter Is Ready

McMinnville Parks and Recreation Director Galen McBee looks at new park shelter, recently completed in City Park. Shelter which will accommodate about 40 people, features a large fireplace and three picnic tables. Structure was built under supervision of Verl Lamb, parks superintendent. it took three months to complete and was financed through matching funds from the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act at a cost of about $1500 to the city.
