Over 200 Brownie Girl Scouts gathered at the J.C. Shelter at Wortman Park, on Monday, Sept. 22 for a "Brownie Blastoff”. The girls roasted "Lunar Lumps" (marshmallows) and had “Moon Juice” (kool aid), then had a city-wide Brownie meeting. The flag ceremony was done by troop 424. Songs and games were led by the Senior Girl Scouts of troop 402. Mrs. David Sears was chairman of this event.
