Elementary Schools Welcome New Teachers

Memorial Grade School Students were greeted by four new faces on the teaching staff. Seated, David Newton, a graduate of Oregon College of Education will be conducting part of the physical education program. Mrs. Nancy Huffman, also a graduate of Oregon College of Education, teaches the fourth grade after teaching one year in Milwaukie. Miss Joanne Fraser, a graduate from Oregon State University brings one year of teaching in Salem into her position in the fifth grade. Mrs. Ruth Goecks came to McMinnville from Renton, Wash. and is assuming the duties in the second grade. She is a Bethany Nazarene College graduate and did post graduate work at Kansas State Teachers College.
