Class Studies Eclipse
Shawn Martin, 6th grader at Newby Elementary School explains the pin-hole principle of looking at the eclipse. By punching a hole in a box, the action of the sun is reflected on the bottom of the box. Listening to the principle are Tom Munro, kneeling, April Kadell, Tom Sanders, Charlene White, News Register Sports Editor, Kim Collins, Julie Spivey, Newby School Secretary and Edward Dunckel, teacher of the 6th grade class performing the science experiment.
