Edward Hoem and son Elling, one of five Hoem family children, work on cupholder in steel fabricating area this week preparing for open house Saturday at Rt. 2, Box 141, McMinnville of ornamental steel products store. Hoem has owned steel fabricating plant since 1964. and firm contracts with new Cascade Steel plant, local contractors, city sanitary service and other businesses in the area. Company has two full-time employees plus five children and Mrs. Hoem who help out summers and part-time. Open House of store, an expansion of the fabricating plant, will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at shop, located three miles northeast of McMinnville on Highway 99W.
