Launching Of Trial Runs For Cascade Due At Plant

Financing funds for the huge new Cascade Steel Rolling Mills, lnc., plants in Northeast McMinnville were turned over to the company, which acted as general contractor on the plant, at a luncheon session Friday. Gale Vinton, vice president of McMinnville Industrial Promotions, lnc., hands a check for $350,000 to Charles Morford, president and general manager of Cascade. Watching turnover of the Small Business Administration loan, handled through participation with the First National Bank, McMinnville, are: A. T. Beal, McMinnville chamber manager; R. R. Mains, McMinnville accountant and member of the Northwest regional advisory committee of SBA.; Morford, James Stanard, First National Bank; W. L. Cushing, MIP attorney; Vinton; Gerry Barfoot, Cascade vice president, and Eugene E. Marsh, MIP board member.
