One of several groups in a treasure hunt Friday at McMinnville City Park gather around watermelon "treasure" with Mrs. Darlene Helm. Participants shown are Sandra Helm, Margaret Pullen, Terri Moore, Carol Helm, Donna Lyons, Greg Lyons, Brad Larsen and Jeff Green. About 75 kids turned out to find clues with the aid of adults in the end of the library's Summer Reading Program which had a Pirate theme this year. Groups were given one clue at the library which led them to 12 other clues and finally to the watermelon, which below, everyone enjoyed
eating.
