Larry Rich Receives Football Scholarship

Larry Rich, McMinnville, first-stringer in both football and baseball at Oregon State University, receives a plaque symbolizing his recent award of a $500 Blitz-Weinhard Company athletic scholarship from William W. Wessinger, chairman of the board of Blitz-Weinhard, as his mother, Mrs. Loyal Rich of McMinnville, looks on. Rich and the
two other scholarship winners, Andy Maurer of the University of Oregon and Tom Dearborn of Portland State University, were guests of the company at luncheon June 5, and afterward toured the firm’s newly-expanded facilities.
