MCC Women Hold Golf 'Horse Race’

Michelbook Country Club women golfers competed in a Horse Race Tournament Tuesday, in which 10 started and the high scorer was dropped after each hole. Pictured are (I-r) Rosemarie Caughran, "Duck" Ross, Mary Mattecheck, Joyce McDonough, Zella Miller, Ginny Carlson, Lylia Peck, Edie Rissberger, Nettie Kroll, and June Yocom. Edie Rissberger won the event, in a chip-off on the ninth green with Rosemarie Caughran after the two tied in final hole.
