Hard at work last Saturday were members of the Baker Creek 4-H Livestock Club who have volunteered to help maintain and beautify the McMinnville Post office grounds. The post office won the President's Beautification Award in 1966 as a result of the Men's Garden Club efforts. The award is jointly presented to a post office and a community group each year. The 4-H group, advised by Mrs. Carl Reister and Mrs. Kurt Rossman, are planting marigolds and chrysanthemums and will be fertilizing the plants later as part of a summer project.
