Workman speedily put up concrete walls for new IGA food store in McMinnville on Highway 99W this week with aid of crane. Store is expected to open by June this year. Cost of construction is estimated at $170,000. Store is expected to employ about 60 persons and is one of several stores owned by Roth's IGA Foodliner, Inc. of Silverton. New store will have 21,000 plus square feet with 14,000 square feet of selling space. It will feature a 200 square foot implant bakery with a baker on duty six days a week. There will be eight check stands and an all glass front will face the highway. Manager of the McMinnville store will be Darrell Rybloom.
