Girl Scouting was organized March 12, 1912 and on Wednesday the Girl Scouts of McMinnville observed the 57 anniversary of the Girl Scouts by baking and decorating a cake to present to the News-Register in appreciation of publicity given them. The cake was presented to the Women's editor, Mrs. Pauline Gariss by, from left, Dianna Fuller, Brownie Scout; Marsha Gunn, Senior Scout; Terri Gunn, Brownie; and Cherie Beckner, Senior.
