Charlotte Kirkwood a senior from Olympia, Wash, helps Dr. Roy Mahaffey, Linfield speech department chairman with reservations for 35th annual Tournament of Champions speech contest scheduled for Feb. 15 at the school. More than 1400 Oregon high school students from 77 different schools have pre-registered for the tourney. Housing is again needed for the participants according to the Chamber of Commerce. Local residents who have spare accommodations should contact the chamber office. Meals will be provided for the students at the college.
