Margrett Kopf, a physical education teacher in the McMinnville school district since 1939, is shown with McMinnville High School Principal Eldore Baisch and a Merit Award plaque given to her Monday night at the 21st Annual Bill Hayward Banquet Of Champions at Portland. The high honor was given to Miss Kopf for her work with development of girls physical education and athletic program in Oregon. She is presently teaching P.E. and coaching the girls’ swimming and tennis squads. The award was one of three merit awards presented at the banquet and will go into the school's trophy case. Miss Kopf was nominated through the Oregon School Activities Association.
