Being a warm spring day, many of the Hopewell School boys and girls waded into the water (in school clothes) during a trip to the Carl Woods farm near Hopewell. Andy Landforce, wildlife specialist from Oregon State University, explained to the students the methods of determining feasibility of stocking a pond with fish as he seined the pond last week. Boys on the trip are members of a 4-H wildlife study club in Hopewell and the girls were along to see what was going on, according to William Peery, Yamhill County extension agent 4-H work.
