Preparing For Parsonage--Groundbreaking ceremonies for a parsonage for the McMinnville First Christian Church were held May 7. Turning the first shovel of dirt is Miss LaVersa McCoskey, longest-time church member. Onlookers who participated in the program include (left to right) Rev. Eldon Wood, chairman of the board of elders; Rev. D. Ladd Howard, Pastor of the church; Mrs. Arthur Combs, chairman of the board of deaconesses; Vic Walker, representing men of the church who will contribute labor on the building; Veldon Bynum, representing new members of the church, and Rev. L. B. Boosinger of the Forest Grove First Christian Church.
