Work Of Scholarship Winner--Lions club members Paul Durbin (left) and Jay Musselman look at four wood mosaic plaques, the work of a club scholarship winner, Bernard Banke. The 1954 graduate of McMinnville high school used the $250 award to continue his work at Oregon Technical Institute at Klamath Falls. A combination of wood and small colored stones is used in the striking designs. Banks is now working in Seattle and continuing his studies at the University of Washington. The plaques are gifts to relatives in McMinnville.
