Operating at near capacity is the Calkins Boat company plant in McMinnville, where the 25 employees have 20 Bartender boats under construction. The Bartender, being built in two models, is reputed to be the world’s finest rough water boat. First of the Bartenders constructed at the McMinnville plant has been delivered to the U.S. Engineers.
