Jaycee Gift-—Use of a Pacemaker heart stimulator in surgical applications is explained by Dr. Crittenden Huston. The Pacemaker was given to McMinnville’s General hospital by the McMinnville Junior Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Huston said that the small machine gives an electric current to start a heart that has stopped. Viewing their gift are (left to right) Forrest Garrigus, Jaycee president, Lyn Crouser, Milton Robins, hospital administrator, Jim Twedt and Dr. Huston. Money for the items given the hospital came from Jaycees sponsorship of drag races at the McMinnville airport last summer.
