New feed cart has been developed by a McMinnville man, Norman Hegna, and completes automation of feeding farm animals from upright silos. Two of the carts have been ordered by a Troutdale area dairy farm and more will be manufactured. The feeding cart will carry a 1500 to 2000 pound load of silage and automatically spill feed into manger troughs.
