Department Service Ends - More than 16 years of service with the McMinnville City Water and Light department ended Monday for Irl Babcock (center) of 1007 Ford street. He is shown with department manager, Alan Jones (left), and his replacement on the service truck, Jack Nicholls. Babcock received the wrist watch he is wearing from the water and light commission and the suitcase and hat from fellow employees in the department.
