Hundreds of Turkeys were prepared for the 5500 area residents who attended the Turkey-Rama to feast on the barbecued delicacy. These temporary barbeque pits, set up at the big city parking lot at Fifth and Evans streets, were operated by representatives from the county turkey growers association as chamber members pitched in with serving the crowd which assembled for the day's events.
