McMinnville Scouts -- Three McMinnville boy scouts left with 34 other boys and seven adults early Monday on the 22-day trip to Alaska of Newberg Boy Scout Troop 265. Shown at official departure ceremonies Sunday afternoon at Newberg’s Memorial Park are (left to right) Craig Hudson, Tom Dideum and Dan Bean. Scouts from Beaverton and Sheridan also are on the camping trip through Canada and the Yukon Territory to Juneau, Alaska and back.
