In Honor Of Turkeys -- McMinnville’s Turkey-Rama was published Tuesday when three turkeys and eight representatives of the McMinnville and Yamhill County world invaded Portland. Harold Lewis (left), chairman of the turkey barbecue, displayed a prime bird to Michael J Frey, president of the Portland Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Weldon Ross (right) president of the McMinnville chamber, invited the Portland man to attend the July 29 event.
