Winning Strawberry Crown -- Pat Bucke of Willamina was selected by picking companions as the strawberry king of Mulkey-owned fields south of McMinnville. Vickie Walker of McMinnville was the girl chosen by her companions for the honor. Children in the picking crew surround Bucke as he sits on the fender of a bus used to transport pickers.
