To Study Soils--Raymond Laurin (left) of Haiti looks over a soils demonstration chart with Ed Laird, conservationist with the McMinnville Soil Conservation Service office. Laurin, a 1961 graduate of Oregon State University in agriculture, will spend several weeks studying with SCS workers before returning to his home.
