1941-3-20, Indicative of top honors for the state of Oregon in district three of the 1940 Cities Traffic Safety contest is this plaque, presented here Monday by Stanley Church, state director of traffic safety. C.E. Forell, city recorder, is shown here with the small plaque, which will be placed permanently in the city hall. Two larger plaques were also presented, to remain at entrances to the city for the duration of the year.
