1941-6-12, Train-Car Crash Fatal to Educator,
Sargeant G. H. Hoxie, of the Oregon State Police, is shown above examining wreckage of the car that carried Professor Charles Johnson, 67, Corvallis, to his death, and seriously injured his brother, Dr. William J. Johnson also of Corvallis. This is the second railroad crossing accident in Yamhill county in the past week and the second at this particular crossing since May 6th.
