Grain Growers in Yamhill County are in the midst of what could well be a record harvest. County agricultural experts said that the weather has been generally favorable and all signs point to one of the most productive wheat years in history. Barley is also exceptionally good this year, but a slight rain late last month may have ruled out a chance to sell the grain for malting purposes. This picture was taken on the Don Walker farm, Newberg.
