Circuit Court Judge Arlie G. Walker congratulates young Bob Larson, Carlton, on his quick action last October which resulted in the rescue of a 13 year-old Carlton youth from the pool in the Yamhill River below the Carlton Dam. Larson, who was fishing in the pool, leaped into the water to pull young Martin Maerz from the water. Larson, son of Everett and Dovey Larson, has recently enlisted in the Job Corps with the help of the Yamhill County Juvenile Department.
