McMinnville Area Brownies, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Herb Hungerford, had a Juliette Low World Friendship Tea Saturday at Memorial School. Each troop prepared its own tea table and refreshments. Guests were friends and parents. Senior Girl Scouts presented a flag ceremony; Cadette Girl Scouts told about trips and camping; Mrs. Gordon Asbury led singing; Christie Hungerford wore a replica of her grandmother’s Girl Scout costume of 1912, the year the organization was founded. Junior Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts will have their friendship tea Nov. 13th at St. james Hall.
