Ken’s Hen Molts, Misses P-I
Dr. Kenneth Homes of McMinnville holds his award winning Jersey Black Giant hen. She missed the Pacific International Livestock Exhibition this year, due to molting her feathers. “Fall is the worst time for a chicken show” says Dr. Holmes. Kenneth is head of the History Department at Linfield College, a writer, Linfield swimming coach.
