Retiring Fire Chief Ivan Pearson and Mrs. Pearson pose before some of the gifts presented to them Saturday night during a barbecue honoring the chief for his long years of service to the city. Among the many gifts was a color TV set, a color portrait and a desk set. Mrs. Pearson wears a fire chief's helmet presented to Pearson by Washington County firemen.
