Some 100 persons were on hand at McMinnville airport Sunday for an all-day training session sponsored by the Polk-Yamhill Firemen's Association. Those in attendance heard US Air Force representatives explain vital need for close coordination between ground and air rescue forces during search and rescue operations. Representatives from 15 valley fire departments had an opportunity to go through an Albatros rescue plane flown to the local field by Air Reserve Service Squadron from Portland Air Base
