FIRST OF WHAT promises to be a bumper bean crop began rolling along the production lines of Stayton Canning Company Co-op's Alderman Plant at Grand Island this week. Here Bertha Wood culls out some of the damaged beans before the cooking and canning process begins. Officials at the plant said the bean processing work will confinue through Labor Day.
