In summer sunlight members of the family of the late Alves Apperson and Daughter of the American Revolution gather June 24th in the Masonic Cemetery for the unveiling of a DAR marker being placed on the grave. Mrs. Apperson organized the DAR Chapter in the 1920s and was the second person to be DAR regent of the State of Oregon.
