Jerry Boone of the Studio of Hair Design in McMinnville here arranges the coiffure he designed for this weekend's Pacific Coast Beauty and Trade Show in the Multnomah Hotel, Portland. The name of the creation is “spring heart", typical of new hairstyles for the coming season. The cape worn by his model, Diane Knutz, is a symbol of the state styling committee which Jerry recently passed, the only hairdresser in the county to do so.
