Ronald S. Kam of Eugene has been appointed Aquatics Supervisor for the McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department. Kam, 26, will be responsible for the total program at the city pool which will include recreations and instructional swimming as well as coaching the city swim team, Parks and Recreation Director Galen McBee said. Originally from Hawaii, Kam attended the University of Oregon where he lettered on the varsity swimming team for three years. Besides an
obvious interest in swimming and youth, Kam is an avid fisherman and enjoys making his own fishing rods.
