Construction of huge new $500,000 Cascade Steel Rolling Mills plant, located on a 41-acre tract in northeast McMinnville, is progressing on schedule, according to Charles Morford, general manager. Cascade will construct two steel buildings which will house steel furnaces and the fabricating plant. The firm is expected to initially employ about 100 people and could reach 225 employees.
