McMinnville Lions Club members, (l-r) Ron Heide, Hub Day and Don Miller, put Christmas trees cut at the McMinnville City Watershed this weekend into trucks during snowy weather. The Lions again this year will be selling trees at the Safeway Parking Lot on Adams street in McMinnville, starting Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. through Christmas Eve. Proceeds go toward the Lions Scholarship Fund which benefits McMinnville High School graduates and has distributed $7000 in scholarships the past five years.
