Mrs. Dan Cole of Mcminnville exhibits her unique collection of Barb Wire. She has been collecting for about 6 months and now has 36 different kinds of wire in her display. She was introduced by a friend from California who began his own collection during a period of convalescence to help him while away the time. “It has proven to be a fascinating hobby,” declared Mrs. Cole. “Do you know there are 200 to 450 different types of Barb Wire? I love the history that goes with a collection like this and I have met so many interesting people.”

Handcraft, Collections Featured At Hobby Show
Exhibits of handcraft and displays of collectable items were featured at the Hobby Show, Nov. 1, in the 4-H Building at the McMinnville Fairgrounds. It is an annual affair sponsored by the Alumni Group of the Home Extension Unit of Yamhill County.
