Mrs. Smuck, who lost her husband to cancer earlier this year, said, “I was chosen for this, and they’ve done so much for me, I just couldn’t turn it down.” Qualifying rounds for the contest began Oct, 12 and end midnight, Oct. 27. Bowlers may try to qualify as many times a they wish, donating $.50 for each qualifying round to the American Cancer Society. Both alleys in McMinnville are participating.
