Construction of the new Bethel Baptist Church on Baker Creek Road is scheduled to be completed before the end of this year. Church volunteers have helped two nights a week on the new building, estimate at $120,000. Jack Squires Construction company of McMinnville contracted installation of the drain ditch which was completed last week. General Contractor is Verlin Post of Lebanon.
