Frank Kowing gave his 40th pint of blood to reach the five-gallon mark Tuesday afternoon at an American Red Cross Bloodmobile visit at the McMinnville Elks Lodge. Mrs. Louis Nelson, registered nurse looks on. The visit netted 92 pints and was sponsored by the McMinnville Junior Chamber of Commerce, with the assistance of the Jay-C-Ettes. A quota of 150 had been sought for the visit.
