Nestled at the end of Baker Creek road, nine miles west of McMinnville, Rainbow Lake was donated to Yamhill County along with about 30 acres in 1962, by Willamette Industries (now Willamette Valley Lumber Company). The lake an property will be used by a maximum of 10 youths from Polk and Yamhill counties under the direction of juvenile department staffs. Above is a view from the park and dock area.
